Orientation session is called CASA 101 because it is the introduction to becoming a CASA volunteer. You are welcome to attend CASA 101 even if you are unsure about becoming a CASA - especially if you are unsure. We will provide an overview of the expectations of CASA, what is required to complete training and screening, and answer all your questions.
Orientation- First Wednesday of every month! Drop-ins welcome.
Lift up a child's voice. A child's life.
What if you were taken from the only people you really knew, even with all their problems, and promised a place to live with your own bed, new clothes, but you had to leave your friends,
your clothes, your pillow, your pet (the only one whoever listened!),
the food you like to eat, could you do it?
Maybe expecting kids... to appreciate what they are offered... is ture unless we first recognize all they have lost.
