About Us

It is no surprise that Child Advocates, Inc. has become a leader

in the ongoing fight against child abuse.

 Fourteen years ago with a small state grant we began training volunteers. Our first year we served three children. This year our plan is to serve more than 400. Our goal

is to serve every abused child who needs us. Our challenge is to find the volunteers,

resources, commitment and compassion to get us there.

Child Advocates, Inc. is a not-for-profit organization, providing court appointed special advocate services in Clackamas County. We are funded primarily

by individual and business contributions, community organizations and  

foundation grants. We receive a portion of our funding from the Clackamas County

Commission on Children and Families.
